The undergraduate colleges of Claremont unveil the first-ever coordinated visit program for local prospective students and their families. We will offer half-day tour programs on selected days in the summer. This program is intended for students from the local area (LA county, Orange county, Riverside county, San Bernardino county, San Fernando Valley) that will be entering the 12th grade in fall 2013 .
We anticipate these programs, offered four times in June and July, will serve as a good introduction to the Claremont Colleges. The programs include an overview of the Claremont consortium system and tours of up to two colleges, and should finish by noon.
Please note that these programs are intended to offer an introduction to the Claremont consortium, in the hopes that interested students will return to campus in the fall of the senior year for a more detailed visit at the college(s) of their choice. Subsequent visits could include interviews, attending classes, or even overnight stays. In the summer, classes will not be in session and most of the colleges will have closed their dining halls.
